This race was delayed by 3 minutes due to Sky Channel commitments to Wodonga Gallops.
My Mate Fab and Bernmar Caviar were slow to begin. Dewana Be Sharp and Shake The Night collided soon after the start checking Dewana Be Sharp. Dewana Be Sharp and Ella Rhode collided on the first turn. Dewana Be Sharp, Ella Rhode and Vic For Short collided on the first turn checking My Mate Fab, Dewana Be Sharp and Bernmar Caviar. Shake The Night raced wide on the home turn, and collided with Silky Sock. My Mate Fab checked off Shake The Night on the home turn.
Shake The Night was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Sausage Sizzle, the winner of the event.
