Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms.A.Langton, the trainer of Hurry Slowly regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hurry Slowly last raced on 24 December 2015. Ms. Langton stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the right achilles tendon.
Stewards spoke to Mr.J.Taylor, the trainer of Ido Voodoo regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing. A warning was issued.
Woolly Warbo was quick to begin. Connemara Xav was slow to begin. Dewana Crownie checked off Both Sides Now soon after the start. Both Sides Now and Ido Voodoo collided on the first turn, severely checking Both Sides Now. Sea Mist checked off Woolly Warbo approaching the home turn. Connemara Xav, Woolly Warbo and Ido Voodoo collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Woolly Warbo raced wide in the home straight.
Both Sides Now was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Hurry Slowly, the winner of the event.
