Stewards spoke to Ms.A.Langton, the trainer of Hurry Slowly regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Hurry Slowly last  raced on 24 December 2015. Ms. Langton stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the right achilles tendon.

Stewards spoke to Mr.J.Taylor, the trainer of Ido Voodoo regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.  A warning was issued.

Woolly Warbo was quick to begin.  Connemara Xav was slow to begin.  Dewana Crownie checked off Both Sides Now soon after the start.  Both Sides Now and Ido Voodoo collided on the first turn, severely checking Both Sides Now.  Sea Mist checked off Woolly Warbo approaching the home turn.  Connemara Xav, Woolly Warbo and Ido Voodoo collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds.  Woolly Warbo raced wide in the home straight.

Carry On Rose was quick to begin.  Arcup Sarge was slow to begin.  Stocktake and Dewana Interest collided approaching the first turn.  Stocktake, Dewana Interest, Zieva and Dream Edition collided approaching the first turn checking Stocktake.  Dewana Interest, Arcup Sarge and Zieva collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Kilty Express and Dream Edition collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr.N.Wakefield, the trainer of Show Me Bling regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Show Me Bling last raced on 12 November 2015. Mr.Wakefield stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennels after having a toe removed. 

Macrory was quick to begin.  Dream Of Fame, Hebe Gee Bees and Winterstein were slow to begin.  Dream Of Fame, Show Me Bling and Eily West collided soon after the start.  Dream Of Fame checked off Eily West approaching the first turn checking Hebe Gee Bees, Show Me Bling and Winterstein.  Hebe Gee Bees and Winterstein collided on the first turn checking Winterstein.  Dream Of Fame checked off Berry Bling approaching the home turn.
