Steward's Report
An Out of Competition sample was taken from My Miss Polly, engaged in this event, on Tuesday 19th April 2016.
Daintree Rhumba, Yorgi and Halo Express were slow to begin. Taabinga Express and My Miss Polly collided approaching the first turn. Taabinga Express checked off My Miss Polly approaching the first turn. Halo Express galloped on the heels of Adara Lad approaching the first turn checking Halo Express. Taabinga Express crossed to the outside on the first turn and raced wide. Adara Lad and Yorgi collided on the home turn. Taabinga Express and Daintree Rhumba raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. N Parsons at the conclusion of the event regarding his treatment of the greyhound Halo Express in the catching pen. After taking evidence from several witnesses stewards charged Mr. Parsons with a breach of GAR86q. Mr. Parsons pleaded not guilty to the charge. Stewards found Mr. Parsons guilty and fined him the sum of $500.00 with $300.00 being wholly suspended for a period of 24 months.
