An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Stevron Autos, engaged in this event, on Thursday, 7th of April, 2016 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Wynd, the trainer of Trav Cee regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Trav Cee last raced on 18th January, 2016. Mr. Wynd stated that he has had trouble gaining a start with Trav Cee recently.
Mr. N. Wynd, trainer of Trav Cee declared a new weight of 32.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Trav Cee last raced at 31.2kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Tally Ho Lass.
Tally Ho Lass and Trav Cee were slow to begin. Allen Gantz and Kiwi Invasion collided soon after the start checking Kiwi Invasion. Ima Terror and Contrive collided approaching the first turn. Ima Terror, Contrive and Stevron Autos collided on the first turn checking Ima Terror, Contrive, Stevron Autos and Kiwi Invasion. Contrive checked off Tally Ho Lass approaching the home turn. Ima Terror checked off Stevron Autos on the home turn.
