A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Admiral Bay. A post race sample was subsequently taken.
Catsford Allan and Tally Ho Billy collided soon after the start. Alejandro checked off Spiral Bek on the first turn. Tally Ho Tink and Catsford Allan collided on the first turn checking Catsford Allan. Spiral Bek checked off Space entering the home straight. Space and Catsford Allan collided in the home straight.

Trial 1
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Alley, the trainer of Cee Cee Senor regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Cee Cee Senor last raced on the round track on 10th June 2015 (The greyhound has since trialled, cleared and raced at Healesville only). Mr. Alley stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a hock injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A Cee Cee Senor trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 1, weight 31.6kgs.
