Dyna Yuna  was a late scratching at 3.09pm by order of Stewards. An inquiry into the reason pertaining to the scratching of Dyna Yuna will be conducted at Geelong on Friday, 3 January  2014 at 4.30pm.. 

 Dyna Tager and Turanza Chloe collided soon after the start. Three Card Trick and To Dee Black collided soon after the start checking Three Card Trick. Dyna Tager checked off the heels of To Dee Black approaching the home turn. Dyna Tager and Turanza Chloe collided in the home straight.

Nikita's Pinto which raced  wide leaving the back straight and entering the home straight was vetted following the event. It was reported there was no injury found. Nikita's Pinto was revetted following race four, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

 Three Card Trick was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Kirabilli Syd and Firecette were slow to begin. Mepunga Moss, Soldier Spy, Firecette, All Guns Blazing and Fourth Choice collided soon after the start checking Soldier Spy, Firecette and All Guns Blazing. Kirabilli Syd and Mepunga Moss collided entering the home straight. All Guns Blazing raced wide in the home straight.

Freddy Bush and Streaming were slow to begin. Miss Hot Vegas and Explosive Arrow collided soon after the start checking Explosive Arrow. Hondo Supaboy and Tiggerlong Amigo collided soon after the start.  Miss Hot Vegas checked off Hondo Supaboy on the first turn. Freddy Bush checked off Explosive Arrow on the first turn and collided with Streaming, checking Streaming and severely checking Freddy Bush. Tiggerlong Amigo checked off Hondo Supaboy entering the home straight.

Freddy Bush was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Chad's Nitro which was having it's third start in four days was vetted prior to the event. and was cleared to run.

Flashy Arrow and Can Can Hurrican were slow to begin. He's Buzzin', Fireball Fury and Truly Loyal collided on the first turn checking Fireball Fury, Truly Loyal, Pink Fox, Flashy Arrow and Can Can Hurrican.

Chad's Nitro which trailed the field throughout was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Boris Sent Me was slow to begin. Why Not Maggie, Can Of Worms, Pat The Baker and Destini Gold collided soon after the start checking Can of Worms and Pat The Baker. Destini Gold, Why Not Maggie and Boris Sent Me collided on the first turn. Can Of Worms checked off Destini Gold approaching the second turn.

Raisafus was slow to begin. Batman, Zipping Camo and Striking Blaze collided soon after the start checking Zipping Camo. Chunuk Bair, Dyna Andy and Raisafus collided on the first turn checking Raisafus. Zipping Camo, Schibeci Gold and Ten Aces collided approaching the home turn checking Schibeci Gold. Raisafus contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Ten Aces raced wide on the home turn. Schibeci Gold and Raisafus collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Chunuk Bair and Schibeci Gold collided in the home straight.

Manila Express and Valeria Bale were slow to begin. Ali Barber, Smiley Sam, Tammy's Billie and Dyna Violet collided approaching the first turn checking Ali Barber, Tammy's Billie, Smiley Sam and Manila Express. Manila Express raced wide in the home straight.

Claretown Oscar and Hot Thomeli were slow to begin. Majestic Lee and Claretown Oscar collided soon after the start checking Claretown Oscar. Fancy Invader, Willy Bale and Five Paws collided approaching the first turn checking Willy Bale, Five Paws, Majestic Lee, Kalamazoo, Shayne Bale and Hot Thomeli. Shayne Bale and Hot Thomeli collided approaching the home turn. Shayne Bale checked off the heels of Kalamazoo entering the home straight. Kalamazoo and Hot Thomeli collided in the home straight.

Fancy Invader was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the ribs, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Gold Kate was a late scratching at 3:28pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Eumeralla Whirl was slow to begin. Moonhaze and Kosi Can collided soon after the start. Dynamo's Gift raced wide on the first turn and collided with Looming Large severely checking Looming Large. Moonhaze and Eumeralla Whirl collided approaching the home turn.

Looming Large was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Spartacus, Yakamov Bale, Cheap Currency and Boss collided soon after the start. Illustrious, Yakamov Bale and Boss collided on the first turn checking Illustrious and Yakamov Bale. Mr. Spartacus raced wide in the home straight.
