Stewards spoke to Nicole Stanley, the trainer of the greyhound Kiarni Miss. Kiarni Miss was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left whip muscle, a seven day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Kiarni Miss with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

El Grover, Yakar Bale, Dustnado and Kirabilli Roy were slow to begin. Yakar Bale, Dustnado and Kirabilli Roy collided soon after the start.
