Top Secret checked off Saahd approaching the first turn. Lunar Tom, Saahd and Sisco Pure collided approaching the first turn checking Sisco Pure. Wakeup Wednesday and Quicker Than Al collided approaching the home turn checking Wakeup Wednesday. Saahd and Sisco Pure collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds causing Sisco Pure to stumble as a result. Quicker Than Al checked off Grandiva entering the home straight. Saahd and Wakeup Wednesday raced wide in the home straight.

Becci Leone was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Take Charge was quick to begin. Mahogany Bart was slow to begin.

Cosmic Star and Tiger Blood collided soon after the start. My Boy, Dynamo's Lady and Mahogany Bart collided on the first turn checking My Boy and Mahogany Bart. Mahogany Bart contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.

Mahohany Bart was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Fully Charged and Suki Suki were quick to begin.

Grand Reward and Cheap Currency collided soon after the start checking Cheap Currency. Suki Suki crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Va Va Voom and Fully Charged. Fully Charged and Blurred Lines collided approaching the first turn. Inara and Cheap Currency collided approaching the first turn. Cheap Currency and Sober Sox collided on the home turn. Va Va Voom and Grand Reward collided entering the home straight checking Grand Reward. Fully Charged and Cheap Currency collided in the home straight. Grand Reward raced wide in the home straight.

Firecette and Belena Jake were slow to begin.

Maintenance Man and Major Missile collided soon after the start checking Major Missile. Shamus's Entity, Ginsue Too and Firecette collided approaching the first turn checking Firecette and severely checking Ginsue Too  which contacted the running rail and lost considerable ground. Major Missile and Belena Jake collided approaching the home turn severely checking Major Missile and Firecette causing both greyhounds to stumble. Maintenance Man checked off Grand Legacy approaching the home turn. Shamus's Entity and Belena Jake collided on the home turn.

Major Missile was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both back muscles and the right pencil muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ginsue Too was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind leg and an injury to the left tricep muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Firecette was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Sisco Rage was slow to begin.

Hornsey's Mate and Deadly Vane collided soon after the start checking Hornsey's Mate. Unexplained faltered approaching the first turn and collided with Peter Rocket. Dream It, Sisco Rage and Peter Rocket collided on the first turn checking Dream It, Sisco Rage and Hornsey's Mate. Yappin' Jack checked off Deadly Vane on the first turn. Sisco Rage and and Hornsey's Mate collided approaching the home turn. Peter Rocket and Yappin' Jack collided in the home straight.

Unexplained tailed off and was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tear to the left abductor muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards interviewed the trainer of Banjo Boy, Mr. Ken Virtue, as a follow up to the scratching of the greyhound from Sandown on 14/11/13. Stewards noted that Mr. Virtue  has since changed his pre race routine.

Banjo Boy, Nic Nat Nui and Dyna Beth were slow to begin.

Banjo Boy and Nic Nat Nui collided soon after the start. Skinny Vinnie checked off Empire Allen approaching the first turn. Skinny Vinne, Banjo Boy, Crawf's Bread and Nic Nat Nui collided on the first turn checking Crawf's Bread and Nic Nat Nui. Crawf's Bread and Nic Nat Nui collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Omaha Club was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the left hock and was humanely euthanised.

Musica and Kalamazoo were slow to begin.

Burnt Fuse and Long Playboy collided soon after the start. Musica and Kokoda Spirit collided soon after the start. Kokoda Spirit and Inconceivable collided approaching the first turn checking Inconceivable. Musica, Kokoda Spirit, Long Playboy and Kalamazoo collided on the first turn severely checking Musica and causing Inconceivable to fall. Kalamazoo and Burnt Fuse collided approaching the home turn. Kalamazoo checked off Frank's Flyer in the home straight.

Musica was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder and minor abrasions. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the event Inconceivable displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS). As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound displayed clinical signs of Ataxia/Hypermetria and sustained minor abrasions. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Meeting Comments -

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. White and Mr. S.Bull (kennel attendants) and reminded them of their responsibilities in being more vigilant when kennelling the greyhounds in their allotted kennels.
