Moluma and El Star collided soon after the start. Kevaud's Girl crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Soho Dingane, Hear The Call and Bally Bessie. Soho Dingane checked off Bally Bessie in the back straight. Moluma and El Star collided in the back straight. Moluma raced wide on the home turn.
Moluma was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left coupling muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
El Star was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
