Railway Maggie and Bali's Pride were slow to begin.
Railway Maggie checked off Prancing Lad soon after the start. Prancing Lad and Rare Bear collided soon after the start. Prancing Lad galloped on the heels of Soho Shingana on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Soho Shingana checked off Prancing Lad approaching the home turn. Prancing Lad checked off Rare Bear approaching the home turn checking Bali's Pride, Railway Maggie and Soho Shingana. Railway Maggie raced wide on the home turn checking Bali's Pride.
Bali's Pride was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
