Kirky Courtz was slow to begin. Spot On Jane was slow to begin and stumbled soon after the start and raced wide. Kirky Courtz and Chili Lee collided soon after the start. Ten To Midnight, Frimpong and Fearsome Boy collided approaching the first turn checking Frimpong. Ten To Midnight, Fearsome Boy, Chili Lee and Frimpong collided on the first turn checking Chili Lee and Frimpong. Kirky Courtz checked off Jimi Power approaching the home turn. Spot On Jane checked off Chili Lee on the home turn and raced wide as a result. Ten To Midnight raced wide in the home straight.
Spot On Jane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
