Steward's Report
Hanging Solo was slow to begin.
Will Cee and Hornsey's Angel collided on the first turn. Hanging Solo and Why Not Penny collided on the first turn severely checking Why Not Penny. Hanging Solo checked off Regal Phantom approaching the home turn. Hanging Solo and Speedway Stuey raced wide in the home straight. Regal Phantom eased in the home straight.
Regal Phantom was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor abrasions to the left hock. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Spiteri, the trainer of the greyhound Regal Phantom. Stewards deemed the performance of Regal Phantom unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Regal Phantom must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
