Steward's Report
Runnin' On Fire was slow to begin. Merc and Runnin' On Fire collided soon after the start. Half Moon Rising crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Oakstar. Burst Through and My Guardman collided soon after the start, checking My Guardman. Burst Through and Runnin' On Fire collided on the third turn, checking Burst Through. Lektra Fire and Half Moon Rising collided approaching the winning post.
My Guardman was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the thoraco-lumbar region and both deltiod muscles, a five day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Half Moon Rising - placed 2nd in the event.
