Steward's Report
Shades Of Lippy was a late scratching at 12:02PM due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Bullseye Eagle, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Bullseye Eagle and Miss Montez were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Ocean View and Surfonic Gold collided soon after the start. Bullseye Eagle and Miss Montez collided several times approaching the first turn, severely checking Bullseye Eagle, which raced wide as a result. Why Not Dawn and Surfonic Gold collided approaching the second turn. Surfonic Gold checked off Why Not Dawn approaching the home turn.
