Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Gary Thorneycroft, the trainer of Rover, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Rover last raced on 10 January 2017 and is returning after an injury to the left stopper.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rover.
Phil Miyoot, Boloney Club and Shiro were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Kerrie's One and Hide The Wallet collided several times between the 50m mark and the winning post.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr Alan Maram regarding his failure to catch the greyhound Rover at the conclusion of this event.
