A pre-race sample Sundance Lad was taken.
Fly As One stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (4L). Cheetah Stealth and Iron Side were slow to begin.
Dontron and Kev's Fantasy collided soon after the start. Star's Big Boy, Cheetah Stealth, Dontron and Kev's Fantasy collided at the 200m mark, checking Cheetah Stealth. Dontron crossed to the rail approaching the 50m mark.
Fly As One was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tarsal sprain to the left hock. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
