A pre-race sample was taken from Josie Rumble upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Josie Rumble was quick to begin. Zipping Hooch, Crackerjack Doug and Farmer Brown were slow to begin. River Crossing, Rock Up Top and Nangar Range collided approaching the first turn. River Crossing, Rock Up Top and Nangar Range collided on the first turn checking Rock Up Top and Nangar Range. Rock Up Top, Noosa Jet and Zipping Hooch collided entering the home straight. Crackerjack Doug checked off Farmer Brown entering the home straight. Nangar Range raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
