Supplementary Report - Race 4, Sandown 30th March, 2017:

Mr. M. Pirani, trainer of the greyound Three Scoops, presented the greyhound for vetting at today's meeting, after the handler failed to vet the greyhound at Sandown, on Thursday the 30th of March, 2017. Pursuant to GAR 42(2), Steward's issued a warning to the handler of Three Scoops, Mrs. C. Pirani, for leaving the course without Steward's permission. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Wonder Doug upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Benny's Entity was quick to begin. Spring Ripper, Stilton Stitch and Chantilly Beauty were slow to begin. Spring Ripper and Stilton Stitch collided soon after the start, checking Spring Ripper. Wonder Doug and Okawa In Black collided soon after the start, checking Wonder Doug. Wonder Doug, Okawa In Black and Stilton Stitch collided on the first turn, checking Okawa In Black. Mumma's Meatloaf and Chantilly Beauty collided on the first turn, checking Chantilly Beauty. Spring Ripper and Chantilly Beauty collided entering the back straight, checking Mumma's Meatloaf and Chantilly Beauty. Brandeen Peaches galloped on Chantilly Beauty on the third turn. Okawa In Black and Spring Ripper collided entering the home straight, checking Okawa In Black, Spring Ripper and Wonder Doug.

Mumma's Meatloaf was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left deltoid muscle, a five day stand down period was imposed. 

Scarlet Tru Blu was slow to begin. Bangor Glynis, Dark Portal and Beejay's Lad collided approaching the first turn. Scarlet Tru Blu checked off the heels of Beejay's Lad approaching the first turn. Bangor Glynis checked off the heels of Scarlet Tru Blu on the first turn, checking I'm A Princess. I'm A Princess checked off the heels of Bangor Glynis in the back straight. Beejay's Lad checked off the heels of Scarlet Tru Blu approaching the home turn. 

A sample was taken from Serendipitous - the winner of the event.

Destini Fortress and Crackerjack Jake were slow to begin. Ima Caravan, Ainsley Bale and Iris Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking Ima Caravan. Destini Fortress, Destini Laredo, Ima Caravan and Aeroplane Jet collided on the first turn, checking Ima Caravan, Tink Allen, Destini Laredo and Aeroplane Jet. Crackerjack Jake and Iris Allen collided approaching the third turn and on the third turn.

Krinon Brae was quick to begin. Pia and Bombastic Tim were slow to begin. Why Not Cory, Krinon Brae, Zelemar Roo and Chasin' Crackers collided on the first turn, checking Pia, Oppie Bale, and Bombastic Tim, and severely checking Krinon Brae and Zelemar Roo; causing Bombastic Tim to race wide. Oppie Bale checked off Why Not Cory on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from You Bug Me upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Bella Ha Ha, Blackpool Shaz and Why Not Dawn were slow to begin. Bella Ha Ha and Why Not Dawn raced wide on the first turn. Why Not Dawn raced wide in the back straight. Blackpool Shaz checked off the heels of You Bug Me on the home turn. Bella Ha Ha checked off the heels of Isla Rose on the home turn. 

A sample was taken from Hosting - the winner of the event. 

Rapid Innings and Fairy Pretty were slow to begin. Slipaway Bolt, Rapid Innings, Teflon Travis and Fairy Pretty collided on the first turn, checking Rapid Innings, Teflon Travis and Fairy Pretty. Sports Knight and Allen Mike collided in the back straight. Teflon Travis checked off Slipaway Bolt in the back straight. 

A sample was taken from Audacious Poppy - the winner of the event. 

Thomas Dee was slow to begin. Ving Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start. Surefire and Miss Lava collided approaching the first turn. Pupetta Maresca and Surefire collided on the first turn. Pattaya Paul and Surefire collided approaching the second turn and agiain on the second turn. Pupetta Maresca and Miss Lava collided on the second turn, causing Miss Lava to race wide. Ving Bale checked off the heels of Thomas Dee in the back straight. Miss Lava raced wide in the back straight. Pattaya Paul and Surefire collided approaching the third turn. Thomas Dee and Double Dose collided on the home turn, checking Double Dose. 

A sample was taken from Cardamom - the winner of the event. 

Miss Lava was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right foreleg, and injuries to both deltoid muscles, a seven day stand down period was imposed. 

Landmark went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Beejay's Atom was slow to begin. Landmark and Mcneo collided soon after the start. Mcneo, Destini Scorcher, Gold Bombardier, Crown Princess and Beejay's Atom collided on the first turn. Beejay's Atom checked off the heels of Destini Scorcher approaching the home turn. Gold Bombardier checked off the heels of Destini Scorcher approaching the home turn. Destini Scorcher and Crown Princess collided on the home turn. Mcneo crossed to the outside in the home straight and collided with Allen Kev, checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Greysynd Emma. 

Sally Gardens and Proven Kodiak were slow to begin. Greysynd Emma and Adam Handler collided several times soon after the start. Sally Gardens and Proven Kodiak collided soon after the start. Brakani and Bare Bones collided approaching the first turn, checking Bare Bones and Adam Handler. Brakani and Adam Handler collided on the first turn. Tzar Norma and Proven Kodiak collided on the third turn, checking Tzar Norma.

Excelencia and Cosmic Tilly were quick to begin. Gothamburg was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Our Didda checked off Excelencia approaching the first turn, Cosmic Tilly and Akina Dee Jay collided in the back straight, checking Akina Dee Jay.

Pre-race samples were taken from Mano Warrior and Carry On Elvis. 

Alpha Nyx and Mano Warrior were slow to begin. Carry On Elvis and Irish Asteria collided approaching the first turn, checking Irish Asteria. Yorgi, Alpha Nyx and Never Satisfied collided on the first turn, checking Alpha Nyx and Never Satisfied. Never Satisfied checked off Lektra Danger approaching the second turn, checking Never Satisfied, Lektra Danger, Miss Pepperoni and Mano Warrior. Lektra Danger and Mano Warrior collided on the second turn. Never Satisfied checked off Lektra Danger in the back straight. Yorgi and Mano Warrior collided on the home turn.
