Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. I. Garland after the greyhound Sneaky Butcher was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr. Garland was issued with a warning and reminded when kennelling he ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with kennel procedure.
Suplex City was quick to begin. Bubsy John was slow to begin. Arctic Winter, Limburg Ava and Allen Roberto collided soon after the start. Tommy Tattle and Jen Shen collided approaching the first turn. Arctic Winter and Allen Roberto collided approaching the first turn checking Arctic Winter. Tommy Tattle raced wide on the first turn and collided with Jen Shen; Tommy Tattle and Jen Shen were checked as a result. Bubsy John, Limburg Ava and Allen Roberto collided approaching the home turn. Allen Roberto and Bubsy John collided entering the home straight.
Tommy Tattle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr.W.Donlon, the handler of Tommy Tattle regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.
Bubsy John was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
