Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Mitchell, the trainer of Beer Gas regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Beer Gas last raced on 5th December 2015. Mr. Mitchell stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel.
Seriously Wicked was quick to begin. Eric Jay and Classic Winslow was slow to begin. Beer Gas and Little Mach collided soon after the start checking Little Mach. Blonde Yappa and Eric Jay collided on the first turn. Little Mach raced wide on the first turn. Little Mach checked off Beer Gas on the home turn. Supersonic Bob lost ground on the home turn.
Supersonic Bob was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left quadriceps muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
