Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Pell, the trainer of Stelio Kontos regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Stelio Kontos last raced on 10th December 2015. Mr. Pell stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel. Mr. Pell declared a new weight of 33.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Stelio Kontos last raced at 32.1kgs.
Crazy Hawke was slow to begin. Stars And Bars and Limburg Princess collided soon after the start. Stars And Bars, Limburg Princess and Tristy Allen collided approaching the first turn checking Limburg Princess and Whipstick Sid. Stars And Bars checked off Tristy Allen on the first turn. Stars And Bars and Crazy Hawke collided on the first turn checking Lay Down Sally and Whipstick Sid and severely checking Crazy Hawke. Limburg Princess raced wide approaching the winning post.
Crazy Hawke was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
