The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Sixty Three and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 6:21pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. C. Morris-Flynn was fined the sum of $100.

Pell, the trainer of Stelio Kontos regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Stelio Kontos last raced on 10th December 2015.  Mr. Pell stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel.  Mr. Pell declared a new weight of 33.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Stelio Kontos last raced at 32.1kgs.

Suplex City was quick to begin.  Bubsy John was slow to begin.  Arctic Winter, Limburg Ava and Allen Roberto collided soon after the start.  Tommy Tattle and Jen Shen collided approaching the first turn.  Arctic Winter and Allen Roberto collided approaching the first turn checking Arctic Winter.  Tommy Tattle raced wide on the first turn and collided with Jen Shen; Tommy Tattle and Jen Shen were checked as a result.  Bubsy John, Limburg Ava and Allen Roberto collided approaching the home turn.  Allen Roberto and Bubsy John collided entering the home straight.

Lilybell and Elite Obama were slow to begin.  Queen Elsa, Annaley Nae Nae and Petite Ruby collided approaching the first turn checking Queen Elsa and severely checking Elite Obama. Queen Elsa and Star's Girl collided on the first turn.  Magic Dance and Annaley Nae Nae collided approaching the home turn checking Magic Dance.  

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Gibilsco regarding the direction that the greyhound Petite Ruby be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Lilybell which trailled the field throughout, was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right pencil muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Elite Obama was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
