An Out of Competition Sample was taken from  Nudge Nudge engaged in this event on 31 March  2016. pursuant to GAR 79A.

Mrs.E.Mcnamara  trainer of Roarsome declared a new weight of 27.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Roarsome last raced at 26.3kg.

A pre race sample was taken from Wilbur. 

Hillbilly Kisses and Roarsome were slow to begin.

Wilbur, Hillbilly Kisses and Baron Charlie collided approaching the first turn. Wilbur and Baron Charlie collided approaching the first turn. Jockey Bale, Wilbur, Hillbilly Kisses and Baron Charlie collided on the first turn checking Wilbur and Hillbilly Kisses. Jockey Bale checked off Wilbur approaching the home turn. Jockey Bale and Wilbur collided approaching the winning post. 

A pre race sample was taken from Dyna Peanut.

Dyna Peanut was slow to begin.

Jet Surfer and Lloyd Christmas collided soon after the start. Little Mach and Dyna Peanut collided on the first turn. Jet Surfer galloped on the heels of Ima Bandit on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Ima Bandit and Jet Surfer collided approaching the home turn. Jet Surfer and Lloyd Christmas collided approaching the home turn. Ima Bandit raced wide on the home turn. Say Nothing checked off Dyna Peanut on the home turn. Jet Surfer galloped on the heels of Little Mach in the home straight checking Little Mach and Lloyd Christmas and severely checking Jet Surfer which fell as a result.

Jet Surfer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hindleg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr.B.Thomson, the trainer of Blackberry Road regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Blackberry Road ast raced on 31 December 2015. Mr.Thomson stated that the greyhound was returning to race after spelling.

Stewards spoke to Ms.D.Carr the trainer of Secret Choice regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Secret Choice  last raced on 30 December 2015. Ms.Carr stated the greyhound was resuming racing following a left front toenail injury.

A pre race sample was taken from Belt Up Foss. 

Space Emm crossed to the rail soon after the start. Blackberry Road and Fiery Melody collided approaching the first turn. Belt Up Foss crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Fiery Melody, Mr Perfect, Blackberry Road, Secret Choice and Jetmag Gemstone. Blackberry Road galloped on the heels of Secret Choice on the first turn checking Blackberry Road and severely checking Secret Choice. Mr Perfect checked off Jetmag Gemstone in the home straight.

Secret Choice was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hock. No stand down period was imposed.

The time 22.52 inadvertently appeared on the semaphore board before being corrected by the judge to 22.83 prior to the all clear being notified.

A pre race sample was taken from Fiery Miss. 

Tango Princess and Kippy Girl were very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Kippy Girl stumbled soon after the start and lost ground as a result. Steely Sprite and Fiery Miss collided approaching the first turn checking Fiery Miss. Steely Sprite checked off French Affair on the first turn severely checking Sally's Cookie. Kippy Girl raced wide in the home straight. 

Sally's Cookie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left foreleg. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Kippy Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Claretown Louise was slow to begin.

Spritely, Drop A Clanger and Mepunga Ted collided soon after the start. Drop A Clanger and Mepunga Ted collided approaching the first turn checking Drop A Clanger. Latino Ice, Happy Hudson and Mepunga Ted collided on the first turn checking Happy Hudson and Mepunga Ted. Drop A Clanga checked off Mepunga Ted on the first turn. Spritely and Claretown Louise collided on the first turn checking Spritely and Drop A Clanger. Drop A Clanger and Spritely collided on the home turn. Mepunga Ted and Claretown Louise collided on the home turn. Evie Tron raced wide on the home turn. 

Drop A Clanger was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

A sample was taken from Chloe's Entity - winner of the event. 

Cosmic Spur and Kosmik King collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn. Kosmik King and Tron's Son collided approaching the first turn. Cosmic Spur, Kosmik King and Tron's Son collided on the first turn checking Kosmik King and Tron's Son. Brylin, Red Light Runner and Dark Magnum collided on the first turn checking Red Light Runner and severely checking Dark Magnum. Inventor and Red Light Runner collided approaching the home turn. Red Light Runner checked off Inventor entering the home straight. Red Light Runner and Dark Magnum collided in the home straight.

Dark Magnum was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hamstring injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Brylin - winner of the event. 

A pre race sample was taken from Ya Want Some. 

Pinky Bale was slow to begin. 

Kilcolegan Cross, Pinky Bale and Ya Want Some collided soon after the start. Caco Potion, Tronnie Oldfield, Just A Dot and Trace Amount collided on the first turn checking Trace Amount, Caco Potion and Just A Dot. Pinky Bale checked off Ya Want Some on the first turn. Pinky Bale and Kilcolegan Cross collided in the back straight.Trace Amount checked off Just A Dot on the second turn. Pinky Bale and Kilcolegan Cross collided approaching the home turn checking Kilcolegan Cross. Just A Dot checked off Ya Want Some entering the home straight. Lady Torah checked off Tronnie Oldfield in the home straight.

Mepunga Ranger and Under Taker collided soon after the start.  Athos and Mafalda Hopkirk collided approaching the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr.S.Daniliuk, the trainer of So Vivacious regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  So Vivacious last raced on 6 January 2016. Mr.Daniliuk stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a right hind toenail injury.

A pre race sample was taken from Urana Roman.

Zipping Vito was slow to begin. 

Levenseat Bevan and So Vivacious collided soon after the start checking So Vivacious. Levenseat Bevan crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Zipping Jane, Spring Clarkie and Mepunga Paddy. Mepunga Paddy contacted the rail on the first turn and lost considerable ground. Zipping Vito, Moreira Magic and Levenseat Bevan collided on the first turn checking Zipping Jane and Moreira Magic. Urana Roman galloped on the heels of Spring Clarkie approaching the home turn. Moreira Magic and So Vivacious collided on the home turn checking Moreira Magic. Moreira Magic, Urana Roman and Mepunga Paddy collided entering the home straight checking Urana Roman and Mepunga Paddy. 

Mepunga Paddy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left shin, a laceration to the left hindleg and a spike wound to the right toe. No stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr P Pace regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Moreira Magic Stewards directed that Moreira Magic be boxed first in future events.

Our Lilly was slow to begin.

Lektra Danger and Zipping Sally collided soon after the start checking Zipping Sally. Zipping Ringo, Lektra Danger and Ho Choi collided approaching the first turn checking Lektra Danger, Ho Choi and Zipping Sally. Zipping Ringo, Jack's Rainbow and Monaleen Ned collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Ho Choi checked off Lektra Danger on the first turn. Lektra Danger and Zipping Sally collided on the first turn checking Zipping Sally. Zipping Ringo, Jack's Rainbow and Monaleen Ned collided approaching the home turn checking Monaleen Ned.

Chase The Breeze and Jackie Baxter collided approaching the home turn checking Chase The Breeze. Hot And Lonesome and Rosie Rocks collided approaching the home turn.
