Zipping Tyrone was a late scratching at 2:16pm due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Johannsen, the trainer of Lissa Breen regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lissa Breen last raced on 06/12/15. Mr. Johannsen stated that Lissa Breen was returning to race after sustaining a fractured right metatarsal.
Lissa Breen was quick to begin. Tekki Minx was slow to begin. Leggo Rose, Beyond Manapa and Aqua Morgan collided soon after the start checking Beyond Manapa. Lissa Breen, Bruiser Senor and Tankster collided on the first turn checking Lissa Breen. Tankster crossed to the rail approaching the home turn checking Bruiser Senor. Bruiser Senor and Tekki Minx collided entering the home straight.
