Dashing Des was quick to begin.  Stormy Jack, Cosmic Reign and Zipping Frank were slow to begin.  Sheldon Rose and Lightning Lil collided soon after the start checking Lightning Lil.  Lightning Lil, Stormy Jack, Epirez and Cosmic Reign collided approaching the first turn.  Dashing Des, Sheldon Rose, Zipping Frank and Dashing Doris collided on the first turn checking Sheldon Rose and Dashing Doris.  Stormy Jack galloped on Dashing Doris approaching the home turn.  Stormy Jack, Epirez and Cosmic Reign collided on the home turn checking Stormy Jack and Cosmic Reign and severely checking Epirez

Stormy Jack was vetted and after being re vetted following event 6, it was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness along the length of spinal muscles from shoulders to hips and hock soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. G. Elston the trainer of the greyhound Stormy Jack regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.  Ms. Elston stated the greyhound was only a young dog having it's second start and in her opinion was racing very greenly.  Taking into consideration the injuries suffered and the greyhound was only having it's second start, Stewards issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn and took no further action.

Dashing Doris was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the back and shoulders, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Yorgi Road, Nitric Acid  and Caidan Marlo were slow to begin.  Yorgi Road, Nitric Acid and Caidan Marlo collided on the first turn checking Caidan Marlo.

Cosmic Collinda, Taabinga Fella and Mum's Soul were slow to begin.  Scary Sister checked off Our Rebel on the first turn.  Shanlyn Frank and Cosmic Collinda collided approaching the second turn.  Shanlyn Frank was held up for a run approaching the home turn.  Shanlyn Frank and Our Rebel collided entering the home straight

Lisburn Star, Hundred and Achai were slow to begin.  Aston Noir, Falcao and Rylies Jack collided approaching the first turn checking Falcao, Rylies Jack and Spritely Geared and severely checking Aston Noir.  Rylies Jack and Hundred collided several times approaching the home turn,  on the home turn and again in the home straight. Shake The Night raced wide approaching the home turn and turning into the home straight.

Rylies Jack was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the right wrist and right triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. G. Elston,  trainer of the greyhound Rylies Jack regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.  Ms. Elston stated the greyhound was only having it's second start and believed the greyhound was trying to cross to the outside approaching the home turn.  After viewing the footage of the event and taking into consideration the greyhound was only having it's second start, Stewards took no further action.

A pre race sample was unable to be obtained from Kokoda Storm, subsequently a post race sample was taken.

Amaroo Crack It was slow to begin.  Leopardstown crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Fawn Mantra.  Beyond Galaxia and Black Talisman collided approaching the first turn.  Black Talisman checked off Beyond Galaxia approaching the winning post.

Star Lord was slow to begin.  Bending Bananas was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Red Cadillac, Memphis Dream and Tumble And Dry collided soon after the start checking Memphis Dream.  Tumble And Dry and Sonny's Salute collided approaching the home turn.

Flywheel Alfie, Chuck's Me Boy and Mister Brown were slow to begin.  Little Sparrow, Off The Hip, Flywheel Alfie and Bekim Goddess collided on the first turn checking Flywheel Alfie and Bekim Goddess.  Mister Brown and Ripper collided several times on the home turn and entering the home straight.  Flywheel Alfie, Anberlin and Mister Brown collided approaching the winning post checking Anberlin and Mister Brown.

Foxy Gems and Spritely were quick to begin.  Cookie Rose and Parkfield Shower collided approaching the first turn.  Cookie Rose galloped on Mr. Leigh approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.  I'm So Late checked off Parkfield Shower approaching the home turn.

Get Along Daisy checked off Hit Legs on the first turn.  Jess' Fantasy and Get Along Daisy collided on the first turn.  Get Along Daisy checked off Jess' Fantasy approaching the home turn.

Miss Mathieson was slow to begin.  Family Rules, Lachlan's Rough and Dundee Raptor collided soon after the start checking Lachlan's Rough.  Lachlan's Rough faltered approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Dundee Raptor checked off Waterfront on the first turn.  Miss Mathieson and Pita Milo collided approaching the home turn.  Family Rules and Miss Mathieson collided in the home straight checking Miss Mathieson.

Lachlan's Rough was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the front left toe and a left triangle muscle tear, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Tyrone was a late scratching at 2:16pm due to injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Johannsen, the trainer of Lissa Breen regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Lissa Breen last raced on 06/12/15.  Mr. Johannsen stated that Lissa Breen was returning to race after sustaining a fractured right metatarsal.

Lissa Breen was quick to begin.  Tekki Minx was slow to begin.  Leggo Rose, Beyond Manapa and Aqua Morgan collided soon after the start checking Beyond Manapa.  Lissa Breen, Bruiser Senor and Tankster collided on the first turn checking Lissa Breen.  Tankster crossed to the rail approaching the home turn checking Bruiser Senor.  Bruiser Senor and Tekki Minx collided entering the home straight.

Canya Keato was slow to begin.

Winston Rose, Andiamo Neo, Wrong Given Way and Canino collided on the first turn.
