Miracle Maggie was slow to begin. Ninja Apple, Sorceress Bale and Road Driller collided soon after the start. Automatic checked off Jack's Alouette on the first turn, severely checking Automatic which stumbled and tailed off. Lektra Damage contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Sorceress Bale and Jack's Alouette collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Miracle Maggie raced wide in the home straight.
