A pre race sample was taken from Sun Choice.
Pacific Dreamer and Hunter's Hero were slow to begin. Ima River Boy and Slick Jappa collided soon after the start, checking Slick Jappa. Pacific Dreamer galloped on the heels of Sheza Gym Junky approaching the first turn, severely checking Sheza Gym Junky. Izumi and Sun Choice collided on the first turn, checking Sun Choicec. Why Not Mick and Sun Choice collided approaching the home turn.
MEETING CONDITIONS:
Satisfactory Trial Results - Booma Mikado trialled over the 311m from box 5, weight 26.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.03, the greyhound won by a margin of 4 lengths. Booma Mikado was cleared. The greyhound also was cleared to race in a right eye blinker.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to C Feltham, the trainer of Miss Ainsleigh regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Miss Ainsleigh last raced on 12 March 2015. C Feltham stated that the greyhound was on season and then had a change in trainer and kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Miss Ainsleigh trialled over the 311m from box 1, weight 25.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.03, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths. Miss Ainsleigh was cleared.
