Tinny Time was quick to begin. Avatar Jet was slow to begin. Really Magic crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Evil Dust and Avatar Jet. Avatar Jet checked off Evil Dust approaching the first turn. Van Damm and Dusty Chopstix collided on the first turn, checking Van Damm, Levenseat Bevan and Really Magic. Avatar Jet and Really Magic collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Levenseat Bevan and Avatar Jet raced wide in the home straight.
