Nitro Princess, Hardy Chief and Velocity Alice collided approaching the first turn, checking Velocity Alice. Velocity Alice, Me Name's Nelson and Woomera collided in the back straight. Nitro Princess, Khandi Khandi and Woomera collided on the second turn, checking all three greyhounds. Pason Sander and All Inn Africa collided on the home turn.
