Stewards spoke to Ms N.Tapp, the representative of Onto Jatt regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Onto Jatt last raced on 26 October, 2015. Ms Tapp stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after spelling.

Queen Elma was quick to begin. Lana Lass and Daintree Alice were slow to begin. Charlie Three and Queen Elma collided approaching the first turn, checking Queen Elma. Charlie Three and Horey's Girl collided on the first turn. Ultimate Paddy and Heineken Girl collided on the first turn, checking Heineken Girl.  Heineken Girl, Lana Lass and Queen Elma collided approaching the home turn, checking Daintree Alice, severely checking Heineken Girl and Lana Lass. Heineken Girl and Lana Lass collided approaching the home turn, checking Heineken Girl. Ultimate Paddy and Charlie Three collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Charlie Three. Daintree Alice brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Heineken Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

A pre race sample was taken from Immo Com.

Mini Morgo was quick to begin. Immo Com was slow to begin. Manx Czar and Militant Man collided soon after the start. Onya Jatt and Manx Czar collided on the first turn, checking Manx Czar. Ultimate Billy and Militant Man collided on the first turn. Immo Com and Manz Czar collided entering the back straight. Ultimate Billy and Militant Man collided in the back straight. Onya Jatt, Manx Czar and Immo Com raced wide in the back straight and again in home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr S.Collyer, the trainer of Galmist regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Galmist last raced on 12 October, 2015. Mr Collyer stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after spelling. Mr S.Collyer, trainer of Galmist declared a new weight of 28.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Galmist last raced at 30.8kg.

Jumped Bail was a late scratching at 2:47pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Instrumental Red was slow to begin. Just Jatt and Dame Oregano collided soon after the start. Avatar Billy and Dame Oregano collided approaching the first turn. Avatar Billy and Dame Oregano collided approaching the home turn, checking Avatar Billy. Avatar Billy and Instrumental Red collided approaching the home turn, checking Instrumental Red. Headrox eased approaching the home turn. Avatar Billy checked off Dame Oregano in the home straight. Fancy Bounce and Headrox collided in the home straight. 

Headrox was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr V.Roz, the trainer of the greyhound Headrox regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Headrox was vetted and re-vetted following event 12. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right metacaprus injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Headrox with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Roz pleaded guilty to the charge, Headrox was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter Mr A.Blake did not act in any official capacity for this event.

A pre race sample was taken from Pete's Timey.

Nev Time and Sailing Ale were slow to begin. Vanderville Kid and Pedalling Pete collided several times approaching the first turn, checking Pedalling Pete. Nev Time and Atta Flash collided approaching the home turn. Nev Time and Atta Flash collided approaching the home turn. Nev Time and Little Horey's collided entering the home straight, severely checking Little Horey's. Nev Time and Little Horey's collided several times in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.

Sailing Ale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right stopper injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Asa Elwood, Delta Miss, Yaramundi Domino and Shake were slow to begin. Yaramundi Domino and Shake collided soon after the start. All Inn Together, Flyin' Les Fergi, Big Blue Chic and My Dolly Molly collided on the first turn, checking Flyin' Les Fergi and Yaramundi Domino. Big Blue Chic and Delta Miss collided entering the back straight, checking Big Blue Chic. All Inn Together and Delta Miss collided entering the back straight.

Lovely Lizzie was quick to begin. All Inn Ky and All Inn Black collided soon after the start, checking All Inn Ky. Wowza Lee, Kifinti and Irish Down Under collided approaching the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. Kifinti and Wowza Lee collided approaching the home turn, checking Wowza Lee.

Following this event, after the all clear was given on the finishing order 1-6-2-4,  Stewards in consultation with the judges reviewed the photo finish and amended the final results to 6-1-2-4 acting in accordance with GAR 63 (1). An inquiry into circumstances in relation to matter will be instigated at a time and date to be fixed.

Ben Wigan was slow to begin. Bojack Kahn and Diane's Lass collided approaching the first turn, checking Bojack Kahn. Diane's Lass, Southwood Lloyd and Lollie Livewire collided approaching the home turn, checking Southwood Lloyd and Lollie Livewire. Diane's Lass and Sunday Sipper collided approaching the home turn, checking Ben Wigan. Terra Verde, Southwood Lloyd and Lollie Livewire collided on the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. Terra Verde crossed to the outside entering the home straight, checking Southwood Lloyd and Lollie Livewire. Diane's Lass checked off Ben Wigan in the home straight. 

A pre race sample was taken from Hardy Chief.

Nitro Princess, Hardy Chief and Velocity Alice collided approaching the first turn, checking Velocity Alice. Velocity Alice, Me Name's Nelson and Woomera collided in the back straight. Nitro Princess, Khandi Khandi and Woomera collided on the second turn, checking all three greyhounds. Pason Sander and All Inn Africa collided on the home turn. 

Khandi Khandi was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Blurton and Our Spirit collided soon after the start, checking Our Spirit. Dutch Schultz, Kiwi Invasion and Paper Cuts collided approaching the first turn, checking Fiery Universe and Kiwi Invasion. Kolora Tess galloped on the heels of Paper Cuts on the home turn and again in the home straight. Dutch Schultz checked off Mistel Allen in the home straight. Blurton and Paper Cuts collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards noted the muzzle of Kolora Tess became dislodged during the running of this event. 

Stewards spoke to Mr K.Eddy, the trainer of Iroquois Souljah regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Iroquois Souljah last raced on 20 October, 2015. Mr Eddy stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after multiple injuries and a new trainer.
