Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Dowler, the representative of Bella Vitali regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bella Vitali last raced on 4th November, 2015. Mr. Dowler stated that Bella Vital is returning to racing after changing kennels.
Thorn And Roses, Weowna Jet, Pictures Of Me and Gas A Light were slow to begin. Shrek's Junior and Bella Vitali collided soon after the start. Thorn And Roses checked off Pictures Of Me approaching the first turn. Thorn And Roses contacted the running rail approaching the first turn checking Thorn And Roses and Weowna Jet. Bella Vitali checked off Nitro Injected entering the home straight.
Shrek's Junior was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left triangle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
