Karaoke Ken, Monterra and Why Not Franklin collided approaching the first turn severely checking Why Not Franklin and Lektra Shock; Lektra Shock contacted the running rail as a result. Lektra Damage raced wide on the home turn. Why Not Franklin raced wide in the home straight.
Lektra Shock was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its left foreleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
