Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Kruissselbrink, the trainer of Contrive regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Contrive last raced on 5th October 2015.  Mr. Kruisselbrink stated that Contrive was returning to race following a right hock injury.

Pipczak, the trainer of Like A Bailey regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Like A Bailey last raced on 13th August 2015.  Mr. Pipczak stated that Like A Bailey was returning to race following a change of kennels.  Mr. T. Pipczak declared a new weight of 31.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Like A Bailey last raced at 29.7kgs.
