Blackpool Chuck and Raw Ability collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Duty Free, Megellas Fairy and He's Historic collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds.  He's Historic and Blackpool Chuck collided soon after the start checking He's Historic, Blackpool Chuck, Megellas Fairy and Duty Free.  Duty Free checked off Harry Fields on the first turn.  He's Historic and Liebig Street collided on the first turn checking Liebig Street.  Blackpool Chuck galloped on Harry Fields entering the back straight checking Harry Fields which contacted the running rail as a result.  Duty Free and Liebig Street collided on the third turn.  Duty Free and Blackpool Chuck collided approaching the home turn checking Duty Free.  Harry Fields eased on the home turn checking He's Historic, Duty Free and Megellas Fairy.  

Stewards spoke to Mr M. Puleio, the trainer of the greyhound Harry Fields regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Harry Fields was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid, a 5day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Harry Fields with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Puleio pleaded guilty to the charge, Harry Fields was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rig Fifty Five and West On Hawkeye were slow to begin.

Gangster Miss and Long Gully Gus collided soon after the start.  Matthew Terrence and Long Gully Gus collided on the first turn checking Matthew Terrance, Long Gully Gus, Gangster Miss, Rig Fifty Five and West On Hawkeye.  Matthew Terrence checked off Long Gully Gus entering the back straight.  Select Opal checked off Wait There on the third turn.  Gangster Miss and Rig Fifty Five collided on the third turn checking Rig Fifty Five.  Gangster Miss and Select Opal collided approaching the home turn.  Matthew Terrence and Rig Fifty Five collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Kreuzenstein was slow to begin.

Master Riot raced wide soon after the start.  Beanbag and Zipping Quinsee collided in the back straight checking Zipping Quinsee.

Kreuzenstein was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left deltoid injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ms K. Leek was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Riveting pursuant to GAR 33.

Nature's Gent, Riveting and Mepinga Blazer were slow to begin.

Riveting crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Brazilian Brae crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Zipping Hooch, Nature's Gent and Shantui collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Hooch, Zipping Hawk and Mepunga Blazer collided on the first turn checking Zipping Hawk and Zipping Hooch.  Nature's Gent and Riveting collided on the first turn.  Mepunga Blazer checked off Knock Wave on the second turn.  Riveting checked off Zipping Hawk entering the back straight.  Zipping Hooch and Mepunga Blazer collided on the home turn.  Mepunga Blazer galloped on Brazilian Brae on the home turn checking Brazilian Brae, Zipping Hooch, Knock Wave and severely checking Mepunga Blazer and Nature's Gent.

Almani Elite was a late scratching at 1.43pm. The greyhound was engaged in race 3 a Launching Pad Semi Final Consolation Heat

Scooby Who and Noosa Jet collided approaching the first turn.  Tommy's Tune and Who Told Simon collided approaching the first turn checking Tommy's Tune.  Scooby Who and Fifteen Two collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Scooby Who.  Noosa Jet checked off Fifteen Two on the third turn.  Tommy's Tune and Who Told Simon collided on the third turn.  Who Told Simon and Fifteen Two collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Tommy's Tune, Who Told Simon and Fifteen Two collided approaching the winning post checking all three greyhounds.
