Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Rose Magic.
Rose Magic, Spazzy Blue and Shanks Very Much were slow to begin. My Names Schultz and Booma Mikado collided soon after the start. Booma Mikado and Dulcet Sound collided on the first turn. Rose Magic, Mint Burst, My Names Schultz and Booma Mikado collided approaching the home turn checking Rose Magic and severely checking Mint Burst, My Names Schultz and Booma Mikado causing Dulcet Sound to race wide.
Crusader was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted 40 minutes later, it was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Grice the trainer of the greyhound Crusader. Stewards deemed the performace of Crusader unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Crusader must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.

Barnie's Bullet trialled over 315 metres from box 1, weight 23.8kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.43 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of .5 length. Barnie's Bullet was cleared.
