Steward's Report
This meeting was deemed hot weather affected. At the close of kennelling, the outside temperature was 28.1C and the kennel temperature was 20.4C.
Bruce Mae was a late scratching at 9.54am due to an injury to the outside toe nail on the right front foot (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Fran Allen and Crackerjack Man were slow to begin.
Yabba Dabba Do checked off Crackerjack Brom approaching the first turn, checking Fess Crockett. Crackerjack Man galloped on the heels of Destini Echo on the first turn, checking Destini Echo. Fess Crockett checked off Yabba Dabba Do on the home turn. Yabba Dabba Do checked off Fess Crockett approaching the winning post.
