Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Slick Maggie.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dr. Colt.
Dr. Colt was slow to begin. Slick Maggie and Miranlou collided soon after the start checking Miranlou. Bazz Kebab was checked off Faboom approaching the first turn. Slick Maggie was checked off Dr. Eleonora on the second turn. Bazz Kebab crossed to the outside and eased on the third turn checking Faboom.
Bazz Kebab was vettd following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Pace the trainer of the greyhound Bazz Kebab regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the third turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Bazz Kebab with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Pace pleaded guilty to the charge, Bazz Kebab was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months all tracks and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted..
