Steward's Report
Mighty Mish was a late scratching at 12.48pm due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dulcet Sound.
Senni Socks was slow to begin. Dr. Simon was checked off Dulcet Sound on the first turn. Barney Boloney and Claude Van Keats collided in the back straight checking both greyhounds. Dr. Simon galloped on Dulcet Sound approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds checking Senni Socks and Claude Van Keats, Senni Socks and Claude Van Keats raced wide as a result. Dr. Simon was checked off Claude Van Keats entering the home straight.
Senni Socks was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was reported that there was no injury apparent..
