Track Curator Mr A. Inger advised stewards that the track was deeply harrowed on 15/3/2017.

Zipping Foy , Gotcha Mate and Apila Cash were slow to begin.  

Zipping Foy and Apila Cash collided on the first turn.  Daintree Ripa. Gotcha Mate, Apila Cabbage and Miss Hanna Berry collided on the first turn checking Gotcha Mate.  Gotcha Mate and Apila Cabbage collided on the second turn checking Gotcha Mate and severely checking Apila Cabbage.  Zipping Foy raced wide on the second turn checking Miss Hanna Berry. Gotcha Mate raced wide on the home turn.  Zipping Foy and Miss Hanna Berry raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Gotcha Mate upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling. A post-race sample was subsequently taken.

A sample was taken from Serious Bolt - winner of the event.

Nellie's Lad was quick to begin.  Cyclone Jebrynah, Jimmy's Joken, Slick Diamond and Sir Richard were slow to begin.  

Nellie's Lad crossed in soon after the start checking Cyclone Jebrynah and Jimmy's Joken.  Magic Myer, Slick Diamond and Sir Richard collided approaching the first turn checking Slick Diamond and Sir Richard and severely checking Magic Myer.  Cyclone Jebrynah contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Cyclone Jebrynah checked off Jimmy's Joken on the first turn.  Jimmy's Joken and Sir Richard collided approaching the home turn checking Jimmy's Joken.  Jimmy's Joken and Magic Myer collided approaching the home turn.  Cyclone Jebrynah galloped on Magic Myer approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  It's All Bolony raced wide on the home turn.

Wild Angel was quick to begin.  Amaroo Gonzales, Dr. Gammiris, Jesterday and Anjing Betina were slow to begin.

Amaroo Gonzales, Dr. Gammiris and Jesterday collided approaching the first turn checking Amaroo Gonzales and Dr. Gammiris.  Anjing Betina raced wide on the first turn.  Amaroo Gonzales and Dr. Gammiris collided in the back straight.  Amaroo Gonzales checked off Dr. Gammiris on the second turn.  Dr. Gammiris checked off Say Nothing on the home turn and stumbled.  Dr. Gammiris checked off Jesterday entering the home straight.

Seven Two, Dewana Express and Aston Harvey were slow to begin.

Ringer checked off Stocktake on the first turn and stumbled.  Seven Two and Dewana Express collided on the first turn checking Seven Two.  Ringer faltered approaching the third turn and subsequently tailed off.  It's a Bird and Stocktake collided entering the home straight.

Ringer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Harlon was quick to begin.  Aston Dee Bee and One Required were slow to begin.

Cavalcade and Shima Song collided soon after the event.  Lonesome Katie and Cavalcade collided approaching the first turn checking Lonesome Katie.  Cavalcade and Shima Song collided on the first turn checking Cavalcade.  One Required raced wide approaching the second turn.  Jacqui Blax and Shima Song collided on the home turn.  Cavalcade and Shima Song collided entering the home straight.

Crackerjack Choc and Zipping Lady were quick to begin.  Helga Bale and Jesaulenko were slow to begin.  Crackerjack Choc, Zabdon Bluey and Bruce Tycoon collided approaching the first turn checking Crackerjack Choc and Bruce Tycoon.  Invictus Rapid crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Zipping Lady, Bruce Tycoon and Crackerjack Choc.  Bruce Tycoon and Zipping Lady collided approaching the second turn.  Invictus Rapid and Don't Kid Me collided on the second turn checking Invictus Rapid.  Crackerjack Choc checked off Zabdon Bluey on the third turn.  Zabdon Bluey and Bruce Tycoon collided on the home turn.

Dewana Babe, Bro Sam 's Hook and Faboom were slow to begin.

Chrichton Bale and Faboom collided on the first turn.  It's A Fling and Cheerful Scout collided approaching the third turn checking Cheerful Scout.  Dewana Babe and Cheerful Scout collided on the third turn checking Cheerful Scout.   Bro Sam's Hook checked off Faboom approaching the fourth turn.  Bro Sam's Hook and Faboom collided on the fifth turn.  Cheerful Scout and Faboom collided approaching the home turn checking Cheerful Scout.

A new track record was record by Trip To Eden 38.680.

Fabregal was quick to begin.  Lonesome Dude and Henry were slow to begin.

Lonesome Dude raced wide in the back straight.  Duna Runa and Fanta Bale collided on the third turn.

A new track record was recorded by Extreme Magic 29.783.

Coaville Tiger and McNeo were slow to begin.

Aqua Cheetah, Louie Neveelk and Flywheel Aflie collided soon after the start checking Louie Neveelk, Flywheel Aflie and Coalville Tiger.  McNeo crossed in approaching the first turn checking Daithy Allen.  McNeo crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Buck Forty, Aqua Cheetah and severely checking Gully Fever causing Flywheel Aflie to fall.

Flywheel Aflie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind foot spike wound, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mandela Sun and Crimson Sally were slow to begin.

Good Girl Sandy and Aston Salute collided on the first turn checking Aston Salute.  All About Arby and Busta Voe collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Galloping Ashley and Good Girl Sandy collided approaching the second turn.  Aston Salute and Mandela Sun collided on the second turn checking Mandela Sun.  Mandela Sun checked off Crimson Sally entering the back straight.  Galloping Ashley checked off Good Girl Sandy approaching the winning post.

Busta Voe was vetted following the event. It was reported the greyhound sustained a left front spike wound, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Go Levi was quick to begin.  Showin' Attitude and Harvey Leigh were slow to begin.

Emilia Cash and So Far Away collided approaching first turn.  Harvey Leigh checked off So far away approaching the home turn.  Emilia cash and So Far Away collided on the home turn.

Joie Eclat was quick to begin.

Fallen Star and Retention collided soon after the start checking Fallen Star.  Amlin Boy crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Retention.  Text Me Tony and Soda Storm collided approaching the first turn.  Retention and Text Me Tony collided on the first turn checking Retention, Text Me Tony and severely checking Bandit Brad which stumbled.  Bandit Brad galloped on Text Me Tony on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr N. Haigh regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Cooler Colour. Stewards directed that Cooler Colour be boxed first in future events.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr B. Toner, the trainer of What's Her Name regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  What's Her Name last raced on 31/07/2016. Mr. B Toner stated that that the greyhound was returning from a seasonal spell Pursuant to GAR 77A, What's Her Name trialled over the 315mtrs from box 1, weight 27.7kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.53, the greyhound won by a margin of 2.75. What's Her Name was Cleared.

Stewards conducted a box draw for the Top Cat Video Traralgon Cup to be held on 25/3/2017.  The official box draw is as follows:
