Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs. W. Fasoli the representative of About To Cry regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. About To Cry last raced on 17/11/16. Mrs. Fasoli stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a broken hind toe.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dr. Phil.
Bandit Brad was slow to begin. Dr. Phil and Pat Me Again collided soon after the start. Dr. Phil, Pat Me Again and Woofenden collided approaching the first turn. Pat Me Again contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Dr. Phil and severley checking Pat Me Again. Joie Eclat and About To Cry collided on the first turn. My Names Schultz galloped on About To Cry on the first turn checking My Names Schultz and severely checking About To Cry. About To Cry and Dr. Phil collided entering the home straight.
Pat Me Again was vetted following the event. It was reported that the geryhound sustained an abrasion to the left wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
