Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Ed's Intention upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling.
Galloping Fantom was quick to begin. Dr. Oliver was slow to begin. All About Corey and My Mate Horse collided soon after the start checking My Mate Horse. Share and In the Trolley collided soon after the start. Ed's Intention, Big Hook and Share collided soon after the start. All About Corey, Galloping Fantom and In The Trolley collided on the first turn checking Galloping Fantom, Share and Dr. Oliver. All About Corey and In The Trolley collided approaching the second turn. My Mate Horse and Ed's Intention collided on the second turn checking Ed's Intention. Big Hook was checked off In The Trolley in the back straight. Ed's Intention was checked off Share approaching the third turn. All About Corey and My Mate Horse collided approaching the winning post.
My Mate Horse was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Hall the trainer of My Mate Horse regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. After viewing the head on video footage Stewards took no further action.
