Bullseye Eagle was a late scratching at 12:13pm, on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an eye condition. Stewards spoke to Mr. C Schlensog, the representative and advised him that pursuant to GAR74(3), Bullseye Eagle is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as the greyhound has been examined by an approved opthamologist who certifies that the greyhounds vision is adequate to allow it to see the lure, and the greyhound has completed a Satisfactory Trial.

Simon Keeping and Allen Jono were slow to begin.  Fran Allen was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Hippy Allen and Ginny Allen collided soon after the start checking Ginny Allen.  Simon Keeping and Hippy Allen collided on the first turn checking Ginny Allen and Hippy Allen.  Simon Keeping checked off Allen Jono on the second turn.  Hippy Allen and Simon Keeping collided in the back straight.  Fran Allen checked off Hippy Allen in the back straight.  Simon Keeping checked off Destini Delta on the third turn.  Hippy Allen checked off Simon Keeping on the third turn.  Allen Jono checked off Simon Keeping approaching the home turn checking Fran Allen and Hippy Allen.

Astrology and Lord Kitchener collided soon after the start.  Andrea Doria, Unika Allen, Shep, Astrology and Lord Kitchener collided on the first turn checking Astrology.  Lord Kitchener and Unika Allen collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds and causing both greyhounds to race wide.

Astrology which performed poorly was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right monkey muscle and right triangle muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Spring Bobbi checked off Diama Bale on the second turn checking Dee Jay Dancer and severely checking Spring Bobbi.  Allen Gable checked off Argyle Lucifer on the third turn.  Happy Tails checked off Allen Sharpie on the home turn checking Diama Bale.

Mr. Moonlight, Jarvis Jet and Jacey Allen were slow to begin.  Lala Shim and Teflon Tony collided soon after the start checking Teflon Tony.  Jacey Allen crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Teflon Tony and Mr. Moonlight collided approaching the first turn.  Jarvis Jet checked off Dashing Impulse approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Mr. Moonlight and Dashing Impulse collided on the first turn.
