Early Violet was quick to begin. Somebody's Image and Shanlyn Hoss were slow to begin. Aye Pee Mccoy, Sonic Petite and Zipping Laura collided soon after the start, checking Sonic Petite. Early Violet and Cabaye collided on the first turn, checking Houdini's Gold and Shanlyn Hoss. Sonic Petite and Somebody's Image collided on the first turn. Zipping Laura and Shanlyn Hoss collided entering the back straight. Early Violet and Shanlyn Hoss collided on the home turn.
