Sweet Nothins was a late scratching at 6.05pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Dodge Ball and Rerod Magic were quick to begin.  Hurricane Craig and Rozehill Beth were slow to begin.  Dodge Ball crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Maddi and Kamanchi.  Maddi, Hurricane Craig and Rozehill Beth collided on the first turn checking Hurricane Craig and Rozehill Beth.  Hurricane Craig and Rozehill Beth collided entering the back straight checking Rozehill Beth.  Dodge Ball and Rerod Magic collided on the second turn checking Dodge  Ball.  Maddi and Rozehill Beth collided on the second turn.

Maddi was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Alotta Memories was quick to begin.  Dr. Trojan, Dangerous Game and Chad's Big Boy were slow to begin.  Alotta Memories crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Meeniyan Hawk.  Meeniyan Hawk crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Aston Carbine checking Aston Carbine.  Meeniyan Hawk and Aston Carbine collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Carbine.  Dr. Trojan, Irish Mobster and Dangerous Game collided on the first turn checking Dangerous Game.  Meeniyan Hawk was checked off Irish Mobster on the first turn and collided with Dangerous Game checking Chad's Big Boy and severley checking Meeniyan Hawk and Dangerous Game, Meeniyan Hawk and Dangerous Game stumbled as a result.

Stewards noted the muzzle of Taabinga Fella became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Meeniyan Hawk was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Roman Around was a late scratching at 5.02pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to a papilloma in the left hind foot, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mum's Soul was quick to begin.  Rusty Sidebottom was slow to begin.  Far Out Indian was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Belfast Babe and El Tee Hawk collided approaching the first turn checking El Tee Hawk.  Belfast Babe, Unimaginable and Barroom Shiraz collided on the first turn checking Belfast Babe and Unimaginable.  Far Out Indian raced wide on the first turn.  Belfast Babe was checked off Barroom Shiraz on the second turn.  El Tee Hawk was checked off Belfast Babe on the third turn.

Flotilla was slow to begin. Winston Rose, Plea For Beer, Senor Gold and Uvalde collided on the first turn checking Plea For Beer and Senor Gold. Mick Mow was checked off Le Doyen on the first turn. Mick Mow and Miss Spence collided entering the back straight checking Miss Spence. Winston Rose and Uvalde raced wide in the back straight. Senor Gold galloped on Plea For Beer on the second turn checking both greyhounds.

Tiger Whelan was quick to begin.  Call Me Tickets, Yaris Bale and Heston Lodge were slow to begin. Tiger Whelan crossed in soon after the start and collided with Betty Baker checking Betty Baker. Thunderlips and Half Way There collided approaching the first turn. Yaris Bale was checked off Call Me Tickets approaching the first turn. Tiger Whelan crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Thunderlips, Half Way There and Betty Baker. Thunderlips, Betty Baker and Call Me Tickets collided on the first turn checking Half Way There and Heston Lodge and severely checking Yaris Bale which stumbled causing Betty Baker to fall. Half Way There was checked off Thunderlips on the second turn. Call Me Tickets and Tiger Whelan collided on the home turn checking Tiger Whelan. Half Way There was checked off Thunderlips in the home straight.

Betty Baker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Bekim Goddess and Daintree Puzzle were quick to begin. Unaffordable, Nifty Neveelk and Back Slapper were slow to begin. Nifty Neveelk and Back Slapper collided soon after the start. Unaffordable crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Hanging In There and Malted. Back Slapper and Malted collided on the first turn. Unaffordable and Hanging In There collided entering the front straight. Bekim Goddess and Daintree Puzzle collided on the second turn checking Bekim Goddess.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Connell the trainer of Pipeline Rumour regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Pipeline Rumour last raced on 24/10/15.  Mr. Connell stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following the removal of a bone chip from the left hind toe.

Machiko was quick to begin.  Cosmic Missile and Marciarno Miss were slow to begin.  Pipeline Rumour was checked off Apollo's Twin approaching the first turn checking Cosmic Missile.  Cosmic Missile was checked off Wendy Lew on the first turn and raced wide.  Wendy Lew and Marciarno Miss collided approaching the second turn.  Pipeline Rumour was checked  off Wendy Lew on the third turn.  Pipeline Rumour contacted the running rail entering the home straight.  Zipping Alley and Apollo's Twin collided in the home straight checking Apollo's Twin.

Cosmic Missile was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Dr. Klaas was a late scratching at 5.21pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37) (fleas).  No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.

Strzelecki was quick to begin.  Charm Again and Gamilla Go Girl collided soon after the start checking Gamilla Go Girl and Early Notice.  Gamilla Go Girl, Wise Maple, Weblec Belle and Headline collided approaching the first turn checking Charm Again, Weblec Belle, Wise Maple and Early Notice.  Early Notice faltered entering the back straight and tailed off as a result.  Gamilla Go Girl was checked off Charm Again in the home straight.

Early Notice was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn right back muscle and injured left monkey muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. D. Batton the trainer of Miss Jay Dodgers declared a new weight of 23.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Miss Jay Dodgers last raced at 24.4kg.

Miss Jay Dodgers, Captain Freckles and Galloping Bobby were slow to begin.  Miss Jay Dodgers was checked off Mahalo Belle approaching the first turn.  Sultan's Boy was checked off Girl Guide approaching the first turn.  Max Roxy and Girl Guide collided on the first turn checking Max Roxy.  Meat Titan, Mahalo Belle and Girl Guide collided entering the back straight checking Girl Guide.  Girl Guide contacted the running rail in the back straight and stumbled.  Sultan's Boy galloped on Girl Guide on the second turn checking Girl Guide.  Galloping Bobby galloped on Max Roxy on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Sultan's Boy was checked off Galloping Bobby on the second turn. Galloping Bobby and Girl Guide collided on the home turn.  Max Roxy was checked off Captain Freckles entering the home straight.  Galloping Bobby and Girl Guide collided several times in the home straight.  Sultan's Boy raced wide in the home straight.

Gats Pacino was quick to begin.  Dodge The Cop was slow to begin.  Josie Jo was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Dodge The Cop was checked off Collinda Warrior approaching the first turn.  Dodge The Cop and Dashing Doris collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Collinda Warrior was checked off Elram Girl on the first turn.  Collinda Warrior and Elram Girl collided on the second turn.

Rozehill Skye and Summer Kate was quick to begin.  Jetmag Ink and Archie Jack were slow to begin.  Rozehill Skye crossed to the inside approaching the first turn checking Rozehill Skye, Gats Prodigy, Kingston Earl and Surf's Magic.  Kingston Earl was checked off Barroom Brawler on the first turn checking Jetmag Ink and Archie Jack.  Gats Prodigy, Rozehill Skye and Barroom Brawler collided entering the back straight severely checking Rozehill Skye which stumbled checking Jetmag Ink and Kingston Earl.  Rozehill Skye galloped on Archie Jack approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking both greyhounds.

Archie Jack was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Cosmic Witch and Aston Noir were quick to begin.  Hendo Blue and Yorgi Blues were slow to begin.  Never Satisfied, Strawbs and Cosmic Trickstar collided soon after the start checking Strawbs and Cosmic Trickstar.  Yorgi Blues and Nikita's Marlow collided on the first turn checking Nikita's Marlow.  Cosmic Witch eased approaching the second turn.  Cosmic Witch crossed to the rail entering the back straight checking Aston Noir.  Hendo Blue and Never Satisfied collided entering the back straight.  Never Satisfied and Cosmic Trickstar collided approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Hall the handler of the greyhound Cosmic Witch regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the second turn.  Cosmic Witch was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)1 the Stewards charged Cosmic Witch with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Mr. Hall pleaded not guilty to the charge.  Cosmic Witch was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
