Stewards spoke to Mr. V. Gay, the trainer of Phil Miyoot regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Phil Miyoot last raced on 7th October 2016 and is returning to race from a right hock injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Break The Code.
Fear Fire and Spoil The Party were slow to begin. Crymelon Fettle, Break The Code and Jett Zafonic collided at the 300 metre mark checking all three greyhounds. Crymelon Fettle and Jett Zafonic collided at the 250 metre mark checking both greyhounds. Crymelon Fettle and Break The Code collided at the 200 metre mark checking Break The Code. Yorgi checked off Phil Miyoot at the 150 metre mark.
