Stewards spoke to Mr G. Graham, the trainer of the greyhound Woodleigh Girl regarding the greyhounds racing manners appraoching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Woodleigh Girl with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Graham pleaded guilty to the charge, Woodleigh Girl was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted

Riclesky was vetted and re-vetted following event 7.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Can't Believe It and Santano collided soon after the start.  Taking Flight and Betta Bale collided on the first turn.  Santano and Dundee Kestrel collided on the first turn.  Miata Gold and Zipping Bronco collided on the first turn.  Zipping Hetty and Betta Bale collided on the first turn.  Dundee Kestrel and Betta Bale collided on the home turn.

Hernando Kahn and Dash Of Scotch collided soon after the start checking Dash Of Scotch.  Hernando Kahn crossed in on the first turn checking Tuffy Bale and severely checking Rapid Intention, Shakey Jet, Quick Step and Galloping Fantom.  Hernando Kahn and Dash Of Scotch collided on the third turn.  Rapid Intention checked off Hernando Kahn approaching the home turn causing Rapid Intention to race wide.

Bubba's Silvia and Banjo Bomber collided approaching the first turn.  Classy Sparks checked off Banjo Bomber on the first turn checking Bubba's Silvia, Fear The Boss and Lopsided.  Behind The Mask checked off Dr. Sherlock entering the home straight.  Behind The Mask and He's Ma Bro raced wide in the home straight.

Rose Magic was quick to begin.  Lars Boy was very slow to begin and stumbled (10 lengths).

Better Beware crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Invienna and Snow Mistake and all three greyhounds raced wide as a result.  Better Beware raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.  

Lars Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind foot abrasion, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

In Like Flint stumbled soon after the start.  Cleo's Boy and Astute Glib collided on the first turn.  Astute Glib checked off Tricky Trey approaching the home turn checking In Like Flint.  Astute Glib raced wide in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial – Returning from retirement - Princess Sage trialled over the 311mtrs from box 1, weight 30.9, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.20, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 11 lengths. Princess Sage was Cleared.
