A pre race sample was taken from Screaming Oaks.
Greysynd Luna and Pristina Lad were quick to begin. Sir Roderick and Miss Dee Meadows were slow to begin. Screaming Oaks and Jake Of Carson collided soon after the start severely checking Screaming Oaks. Daintree Ripa checked off Express Chain approaching the first turn. Express Chain checked off Pristina Lad on the first turn and stumbled checking Sir Roderick and Jake Of Carson and severely checking Daintree Ripa. Sir Roderick and Express Chain collided approaching the home turn checking Express Chain. Pristina Lad checked off Jake Of Carson in the home straight.
Greysynd Luna was vetted as the result of an injury sustained in the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right radius/ulna fracture, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
