Stewards spoke to Mr. C Russell, the trainer of Barby Que regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Barby Que last raced on 26th September, 2016 and is returning to racing after a season.

Midnight Marzy was slow to begin. Ruby Rads and Barby Que collided approaching the first turn checking Barby Que and Kraken Dynamite. Leon's Wish checked off Ruby Rads on the home turn.

Yorgi and Sisco Wander collided on the first turn checking Yorgi. Inky and Blue Marmion collided several times approaching the second turn. Yorgi, Inky and Blue Marmion collided on the second turn checking Blue Marmion, Inky and Sisco Wander. Sisco Wander and Blue Marmion collided several times in the home straight. Sisco Wander eased approaching the winning post.

Sisco Wander was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right triangles, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Galea, the trainer of the greyhound Sisco Wander regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Sisco Wander with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Galea pleaded guilty to the charge, Sisco Wander was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Majong Princess was quick to begin. Tanazoo and Chopstick Walrus collided approaching the first turn. Swift Knockout, Chopstick Walrus and Broadway Belle collided on the first turn checking Chopstick Walrus. Swift Knockout and Broadway Belle collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Barb Allen checked off Tanazoo on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D Craven, the representative of Bryden Curly regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bryden Curly last raced on 1st October, 2016 and is returning to racing after a season.

Why Not George was slow to begin. Nirvana Armo and She's A Rebel collided approaching the first turn checking She's A Rebel. Nirvana Armo checked off Bryden Curly entering the back straight. Full Blown Turbo galloped on Bryden Curley on the second turn severely checking Full Blown Turbo, Nirvana Armo and Bryden Curly. She's A Rebel galloped on Awesome Freckles on the home turn.

Nirvana Armo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist and right monkey muscle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Midfield Maestro, All Inn Menphis, Red Hot Bella and Velo Galore collided soon after the start checking All Inn Menphis, Red Hot Bella and Velo Galore. We Froff Dat, Uno Buddy and Ima Lonely Boy collided on the first turn checking Ima Lonely Boy and severely checking Midfield Maestro and Uno Buddy. Uno Buddy and Velo Galore collided approaching the home turn. Midfield Maestro, Uno Buddy and Velo Galore collided on the home turn checking Velo Galore, Midfield Maestro fell as a result.

Midfield Maestro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both monkey muscles. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Merinda Ollie.

Kraken Suzie and Virgil collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Merinda Ollie and Stella's Grace collided approaching the first turn. Merinda Ollie, Stella's Grace, Borough Black and Virgil collided on the first turn checking Stella's Grace, Borough Black, Virgil and Kraken Suzie. Merinda Ollie, Hey Hey Fozz and Miss Twerker collided in the back straight. Hey Hey Fozz, Miss Twerker and Stella's Grace collided on the second turn checking Stella's Grace and severely checking Miss Twerker. Borough Black and Miss Twerker collided several times approaching the home turn. Kraken Suzie failed to pursue the lure with due commitment on the home turn and several times in the home straight. Stella's Grace and Kraken Suzie collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Eyles the trainer of the greyhound Kraken Suzie regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Kraken Suzie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both monkey muscles and the right thigh muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Kraken Suzie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Eyles pleaded guilty to the charge, Kraken Suzie was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hey Alio Fozio, Kraken Manager and Lloyd Christmas was slow to begin. Morta Bella and Swift Bunny collided soon after the start. Split Chic, Be Hopeful and Morta Bella collided on the first turn checking Be Hopeful and Morta Bella. Split Chic and Swift Bunny collided entering the back straight. Lloyd Christmas raced wide in the back straight. Split Chic and Morta Bella collided on the second turn and again approaching the home turn. Hay Alio Fozio and Lloyd Christmas race wide in the home straight.

Monica Star was very slow to begin (3L). Belena Surf, Blue Afro and Lodge's Express collided approaching the first turn. Outta Ammo and River End collided on the first turn checking River End. Blue Afro, Bryden Peter and All Inn Houston collided on the first turn checking All Inn Houston. Lodge's Express and Belena Surf collided approaching the home turn. Monica Star and Outta Ammo collided on the home turn. River End galloped on the heels of Outta Ammo on the home turn severely checking Outta Ammo. Blue Afro and Lodge's Express collided approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Clear Sense.

Stewards spoke the lure driver Mr. S. Baldwin regarding the positioning of the lure approaching the home turn, on the home turn and in the home straight. Mr. Baldwin advised Stewards that when the leading greyhound Brodie John lost ground, this left the lure further in front than anticipated. Stewards accepted Mr. Baldwin's explanation and took no further action.

Reality Thunder was slow to begin. Brodie John, Lettuce Hold On, Simply Good and Baron Lad collided soon after the start. Violet Blue and Lettuce Hold On collided approaching the first turn. Reality Thunder, Clear Sense and Violet Blue collided on the first turn checking Reality Thunder, Clear Sense, Violet Blue and Baroness Sally. Violet Blue and Baroness Sally collided approaching the home turn. Clear Sense and Baron Lad collided approaching the home turn checking Clear Sense, Violet Blue and Baroness Sally. Brodie John and Lettuce Hold On collided approaching the home turn checking Brodie John. Brodie John and Lettuce Hold On collided several times in the home straight.  

Baron Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Emi's Boy Badger and Before My Time collided approaching the first turn. Archi Willow and Our Spirit collided approaching the first turn. Secretary Bird and Silver Squiggle collided approaching the first turn. Crymelon Fettle raced wide to the first turn. Emi's Boy Badger, Before My Time and Secretary Bird collided on the first turn checking Secretary Bird. Silver Squiggle and Archi Willow collided on the first turn. Secretary Bird, Silver Squiggle and Archi Willow collided approaching the home turn checking Archi Willow. Emi's Boy Badger and Crymelon Fettle collided on the home turn. Before My Time, Secretary Bird and Emi's Boy Badger collided entering the home straight. Crymelon Fettle raced wide in the home straight.

Black Albert, Kinsley Boy and Petentim collided on the first turn checking Black Albert. Tricky Tezza and Black Albert collided on the home turn. Fancy Bounce and Kingsley Boy collided entering the home straight. Tricky Tezza and Black Albert collided in the home straight. Iroquois Souljah, Tricky Tezza and Kingsley Boy collided approaching the winning post.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Queen Yuna trialled over the 425mt from box 8, weight 26.8kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.38 the greyhound won by a margin of 5L. Queen Yuna was Cleared.
