Zelemar Leap was quick to begin. Alchemy, Running Home and Merlot Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Merlot Magic and severely checking Running Home. Merlot Magic checked off Alchemy approaching the first turn. Zabimaru Bale and Zelemar Leap collided approaching the first turn checking Zelemar Leap. Alchemy and Dawn Cruise collided entering the home straight.
Running Home was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
